Return & Refund Policy
Personalised & Custom-Made Products
Many products supplied by Everest Custom are personalised or made specifically to your requirements, including custom stickers, labels, badges, keyrings, medals, domed gel inserts, printed inserts and products featuring your own logo, artwork, text, size or shape.
Because these products are made to your specifications, the normal 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right for online purchases generally does not apply to goods that are clearly personalised or made to the consumer’s specifications.
This does not affect your statutory rights if goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise fail to meet applicable consumer law.
Cancelling an Order
If you wish to cancel or change an order, contact us as soon as possible:
If production has not started, we will try to accommodate your request.
Once production has begun on a personalised or custom-made product, cancellation may no longer be possible.
Faulty or Incorrect Goods
Under UK consumer law, goods must be:
- As described
- Of satisfactory quality
- Fit for purpose
If your order does not meet these standards, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund depending on the circumstances.
For consumer purchases, there is also normally a short-term right to reject faulty goods within 30 days, subject to the circumstances and applicable law.
Damaged, Missing or Incorrect Orders
Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
If an item is damaged, missing or incorrect, contact us and provide:
- Your order number
- Details of the problem
- Clear photographs of the product
- Photographs of the packaging where relevant
We will review the issue and arrange an appropriate solution.
Artwork & Proof Approval
Customers are responsible for checking artwork and personalisation details carefully.
Where a digital proof is supplied, please check:
- Spelling
- Names and numbers
- Logos
- Colours
- Layout
- Sizes
- Contact details
- Product specifications
Once you approve a proof, production may begin.
We cannot normally accept responsibility for customer-supplied errors that were clearly visible on an approved proof. This does not affect your rights if the finished product does not match the approved artwork or is otherwise faulty.
Customer-Supplied Artwork
You are responsible for ensuring artwork supplied to us is accurate and suitable for printing.
Issues caused solely by customer-supplied files, such as spelling mistakes, incorrect details, poor-quality artwork or incorrect dimensions, will not normally be treated as manufacturing faults.
If we identify an obvious artwork issue before production, we may contact you for clarification.
Colour & Manufacturing Variations
Printed colours can differ slightly from colours viewed on a screen because of differences in monitors, materials and printing processes.
Small production tolerances may also occur in areas such as:
- Cutting position
- Dimensions
- Print alignment
- Material thickness
- Resin finish
Minor variations that fall within reasonable manufacturing tolerances are not normally considered faults.
Returns
Please contact us before returning any product.
If a return is appropriate, we will provide instructions.
Where goods are faulty, damaged or not as described, we will deal with return costs in accordance with your statutory rights.
Personalised goods cannot normally be returned simply because you have changed your mind. Businesses must still provide the remedies required by law when goods are faulty or misdescribed.
Refunds
Where a refund is due, it will normally be issued to the original payment method.
Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
If only part of an order is affected, an appropriate partial refund may be offered where legally and practically suitable.
Business Customers
Business customers should inspect goods promptly after delivery and contact us as soon as reasonably possible if there is a problem.
Separate contractual terms may apply to business orders.
Nothing in this policy excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Return & Refund Policy limits your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer law.
Where this policy conflicts with a legal right that cannot be excluded, the law takes precedence.
